MED/SURG
6 Ortho
Nurses on 6 Ortho provide care to the post-operative orthopedic and spine surgical populations. With more than 50 credentialed orthopedic surgeons on staff, these nurses have the opportunity to gain experience with various surgical techniques.
7 Cardiac
The 7 Cardiac unit is a specialized, 50-bed unit dedicated to treating patients who are suffering from heart-related conditions such as a heart attack, congestive heart failure (CHF) or heart rhythm abnormalities. The unit also provides care for patients recovering from heart procedures such as stent placement, cardiac catheterization and pacemaker or internal heart defibrillator implantation, as well as those patients with a significant history of heart disease.
8 Pulmonary
Nursing staff members on 8 Pulmonary care for patients experiencing pulmonary and infectious disease illnesses. These nurses specialize in caring for patients with tracheostomies for respiratory support. Partnering with our hospitalist group, these nurses are skilled medical-surgical nurses.
9 West
Grandview patients seeking in-house oncology treatment are cared for on 9 West. The 9 West patient care team is highly motivated and focused on providing the specialized care required for the oncology patient population.
9 East
Nurses on 9 East focus on the care of patients post-bariatric, maxillofacial and GI/GU surgery. With an increasing surgical volume, nurses on this unit are afforded the opportunity to learn a variety of post-surgical treatment modalities.
12 Neuro
The 12 Neuro patient care team concentrates on the care of the neurologically comprised medical surgical patient population. Nurses on this floor provide specialized care to post-stroke and TIA patients.
