Grandview Health Names New CEO

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Grandview Health announced today that Philip A. Patterson, FACHE, has been appointed chief executive officer.
Patterson brings more than 30 years of hospital executive experience having served in leadership roles with faith-based, academic and community health systems. For the past eight years, he has served as market president for Ascension Providence – Providence Health Network in Waco, TX. While working on his master’s degree at UAB, Philip worked at Baptist Montclair Hospital as a financial services analyst.

A native of Mobile, Philip earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Auburn University, a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and a master’s degree in health administration from Georgia State University.
