Outpatient Rehabilitation
Grandview Medical Center’s outpatient rehabilitation program allows patients to receive therapeutic care in a professional environment and then return home. Our team includes licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists. Our philosophy at Grandview Outpatient Rehabilitation is to evaluate and treat dysfunction in order to restore, maintain and enhance performance. Our goal is to achieve maximal pain-free movement of the musculoskeletal system through manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise and education.
Services offered in outpatient rehabilitation include:
- Physical and occupational therapy for orthopedic conditions
- Sports injury care
- Dry needling therapy
- Spinal and extremity joint mobilization
- Evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunction
- Hand, wrist and foot therapy
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Work conditioning/hardening
- Neurological rehabilitation for brain injuries or strokes
- Interdisciplinary approach between physical, occupational and speech therapies
- Balance issues and difficulty walking
- Vestibular rehabilitation for vertigo and related disorders
- LSVT-BIG program for Parkinson’s Disease
- Speech, language and swallowing therapy
